Terminology

For purposes of the Terms: (i) "User," "you" and "your" means an individual or entity that creates an account on the Service.; (ii) "we," "us" and "our" means Previouses.com; (iii) "material" or "previous" means any study material contributed, uploaded and otherwise provided to the Service by a User.

Account

We will activate your account after you confirm your e-mail. It is your responsibility to provide and double-check your entered e-mail in the registration form. We reserve the right to change your nickname at any time if found inappropriate or conflicting with the integrity of the website. Failing to comply with these Terms allows us to ban or terminate your account.

Previouses

The user agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Previouses.com from any claims resulting from the use of our services.

Use of our services to infringe upon any copyright or trademark is prohibited. This includes but is not limited to unauthorized copying of music, books, photographs, or any other copyrighted work. The upload of any counterfeit merchandise of a trademark holder may result in the immediate termination of your account. If you believe that your copyright or trademark is being infringed upon, please contact us with the information about the material and links to it. If the request is of a licensing issue, we may require further documentation. Kindly check the copyright section below.

Examples of unacceptable previouses include any copyrighted software, e-books and learning tools, technical papers not written by the uploader, previouses from a university other than the uploader's, files that are not useful to university students, and harmful and corrupt files. If you encounter such previouses, kindly report them. If the previous that you wish to upload does not belong to you, then it is your responsibility to have proper permission from the owner.

Once you upload a previous, you have until we verify it to remove or edit its information. After the previous is verified, you are only able to change your anonymity towards it, or submit a correction.

Credits

Earning credits
We reserve the right to determine to number of credits you can get by contributing particular previouses and other contributions, and may change the rates and earning rules of credits at any time.

Transferring credits
You may transfer any number of your credits to another user based on the recipient's e-mail address or nickname. For privacy concerns, the receiver will not know from who he received the credits. Once the transfer is done, it's not undoable.

Changing your credits
We have the right to give free credits to single or multiple users as part of mass giveaways. We also have the right to penalize the credits of a user failing to comply with the Terms. If we remove your previous for any reason, we have the right to remove your earned credits from that previous.

Using credits
You use credits to download previouses. Each download consumes credits regardless of the number of downloads of the same previous. Also, the previouses you had contributed are treated the same as others towards you. We would notify you before downloading the same previous more than once.

Disclaimer

Previouses.com shall not be responsible for any damages you may suffer. We make no warranties of any kind, expressed or implied for services we provide. We disclaim any warranty or merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.

Copyright Notice

Previouses.com complies with the requirements put forth by the Digital Millennium Copyright Act of 1998. We will expeditiously investigate any alleged case of infraction on copyrighted material available on our website, and take appropriate action. Files uploaded are not always checked for copyright violation (unless the file is questionable), especially that this process is almost impossible with the increasing number of activities on the website. We shall claim no responsibility for any type of copyright infringement which results from user contributions. However, we shall review and completely remove any uploaded content that proves to be copyright infringing after fulfilling the following copyright review requirements:

• Receiving a copyright notice e-mail using this form containing the URL to the infringing content
• The sender of the e-mail should be the copyright holder
• The e-mail should show clearly and unarguably that the sender is the original owner of the work
• The owner shall prove that the file being reported is copyrighted and is not accessible by the public domain

Please note that any e-mail being sent to us containing complaints about libelous or slanderous content that defames you, criticizes you, is untrue, contains personal information, allegedly misuses your trademark, or because the content is from a competitor, or any other reason other than copyright infringement, will be disregarded. This type of claims should be raised only by using the 'Report' function on the material in subject.

Changes to the TOS

Any changes to our Terms of Service will be placed here and will supersede this version of our Terms. Any changes will be posted to this page. However, you may not be directly notified about the updates, unless they include significant changes, or in case they include a reduction in your rights, or any action for which we need to have your explicit consent. In that case, we will be notifying you through an e-mail which will be sent to your account's e-mail address.
